I was diagnosed with CF when I was about 27 and they didn't think I would live to be 30. In November I'll be 60 so I hope that helps give a little insight into how predicatable this silly disease is. I really hope to see them come up with something that cures this disease or prevents it from getting worse in my lifetime so I can just feel good to know that the "younger" people get a fighting chance. I really believe it will happen someday.

Don't give up on supporting your friend and others with CF. The support is what keeps us going!
