They're psyched (as psyched as kids get about home decorating). Powell makes a line of furniture in the same locker style. I'm thinking maybe beds with underneath storage too. Maybe I can talk Grandma into springing for it?

Where I live, the local university has a "surplus" store where you can buy all sorts of strange stuff that might appeal to kids - things like old lockers, library card catalogs, steelcase furniture, etc. and it is a huge bargain compared to very similar stuff at Pottery Barn.
