Our son is being tested Monday for cf since his sister is positive. Once they saw what her two genes were, they are pretty certain it will be negative!!!!!!!!!!

Wishing the very best and for your son to be in the clear! At our clinic it is routine to test siblings (even if they are asymptomatic) once one child is dx'ed. In our case, one son had a negative sweat test, negative Ambry test and no worrisome symptoms... the other had borderline sweat tests and is a carrier. It's reassuring to get the testing done and KNOW.

Its good that they are testing him, you go crazy worrying if you are missing something. My boys were both tested just with genes, both are carriers.

We are glad they are testing too! My nephew is also being tested on tuesday. He has gi problems and gets sick very easy, so his drs want him tested too!
