I was getting sore throats a lot and hoarseness in 2005, to the point where I would have no voice at all. Turns out I had really significant GERD/reflux. So I was put on Nexium and haven't had the problem ever since. I too get VERY hoarse when I start my TOBI, and have also found the Neti-pot very effective. just wanted to let you know with your help, I solved my problem! It was a sinus issue. Now that I am on Flonase, the sore throats went away, too! Hallelujah!
