we have aero chamber plus. They gave us one in the hospital, but it got lost coming home. I almost died when they told me it would cost FIFTY BUCKS to buy one.

I have an aero chamber as well, but I don't use it anymore. I was told that you can easily hold your puffer away from your mouth and breath it in, and get somewhat of the same effect as a chamber would give you.

I have a "medispacer" now ( got that from the hospital). I once used one called "inspir-ease". Either way i like using a spacer much better than not using one, it makes it soooooooooooo much easier and you are sure of getting a full dose. You can ask your cf nurse for one, they sometimes have them or can get them for you at no cost.

I haven't used an inhaler that wasn't dry powder in a long time

But when I was using MDIs and used a spacer it was an OptiChamber. It came totally apart and could be cleaned/sterilized better than the Aerochamber. I also used the Optihaler to carry with me cause it was so much smaller than any other spacer available at that time(5 or 6 years ago)
