Specialists Communicating with each other? or are you the go-between??

Thanks so much. I had a feeling it should be handled differently. When we used the local ENT, he did call the CF doctor each time because they worked closely together. So I have to ask this CHOP ENT to do the same. Forget about the pediatrician...I don't think she has any idea that Aidan even has a PICC line right now. We only see her for routine vaccinations. Thanks again! Now I won't feel badly about telling the ENT to call CF doctor....

I am the go between for all of my docs. I like it that way because I feel it keeps me on my toes concerning my own health, not to mention on the same page as everyone else! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> Also I guess I like feeling like I have some sort of control in what is sometimes an out of control situation for me.

I don't do it because they won't do it, but because I have always done it. But I would think you could talk to the doc, he works for you...so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do it.
