I've been colonizing MRSA pretty much forever. I know that I'm not a risk to the majority of the population, but my bf had cancer a few years ago. I have made him swear up and down that his immune system is ok (starting about 20 mins into our first date lol) but he sometimes has his doubts. For a couple weeks now he has been breaking out in ½ inch sores surrounded by red, warm, puffy tissue around 2 inches in diameter on his legs and abdomen. They don't look exactly like the online pictures of the skin form of staph, but I'm still worried that I'm making him sick. Is it possible that the MRSA in my lungs could be affecting his skin?
