Sputum Cultures....

I am on Tobi and and azrothmycin everyday. I would like to know if sputum cultures will be normal then if your on meds to help with lung infection. Becuase today I got the results and the lung doctor says that my my sputum cultre was (normal) so would it be normal becuase I am on Tobi and stuff???

And do any of you CFers ever have normal cultres??

Normal as in no bacteria? Or normal as in just your "normal" bugs? My doc tells me my cultures are "normal" all the time, but this is bc I am just culturing PA. She only tells me if it's differnet (like when I had Aspergillus...gross). Either way, congrats on a good culture! Hope the drugs are working well for you.

normal as in i don't need any meds there is no infection.
thats what the doc said. I really don't get what the doc is trying to say. lol.
