Sputum Cultures

Hey all,

I'm wondering how often people get sputum cultures done? My doc is not at a CF care center. So I'm wondering if the CF centers have some sort of protocol for regular cultures? (for example every 3 months).

i have them done every 3 months with my quarterly visits and at visits prior to admission if its been over a month since my last one.

I have them only if Dr suspects that something is going on due to symptoms, or if I ask for them.
