Do I <i>HAVE</i> to call the SSDI office and report that I'm working part-time if I earn less than the $720/month limit?

If you are working under the table then they won't know but if you are getting an acutal pay check they will see that, because taxes will be taken out. I would call them to tell them. You actually can make under a 1000 dollars a month and still not lose your benefits, but if you make over 720 it counts as you trying to go back to work. You won't lose benefits as long as you stay under 1000.00 dollars.
