St. Barnabas clinic-Livingston NJ

I've been at St. Vincents but getting into NYC with the baby is hard though I can do it. I'm thinking that changing to a local clinic would be easier, but I have a very mild case of CF that is unusual. Anyone know if St. Barnabas is as good as St. Vincents? How would I be able to tell how they compare? I currently visit the clinic on pediatric day so I'm not exposed to other CF adult bugs, so that is a major concern too. Is it worth risking a change or should I just stay put since I'm doing well where I'm at?

I dont know anything about St. B's, but I am a LOVER of St. Vinny's. I traveled 3 hours even when Jazmine was a baby.

Thanks Mel. I know you go to St. Vincents and that's a big reason why I'm hesitant to leave. I know they take good care of you and they have been fantastic with me too. Being an oldie, I am inclined to stay put. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I am an atypical CFEer, or I was till recently and the care I got from DR Fiel and especially his nurse was amazing.. I have pretty high standards because I am a nurse myself... as well as I have been through the ringer with doctors before.

Dr Fiel is out of Morristown Memorial Hospital, in Morristown, NJ... If you google Dr Fiels name you will see his is a forerunner in adult CF care, he is very, very active and involved in the CF community and I think the world of them, while I have great care where I am now, I miss them very much.

So that is all I Know about NJ CF care..
