St. Louis Children's Hospital

Is anyone familiar with the CF center at St. Louis Children's Hospital? We will be moving to the area soon and I was wondering if they were any good. We also heard there is a CF clinic at Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis and we were curious which was better.

I live in the metro St. Louis area and don't have much experience with either hospital, but we just did a sweat test at Cardinal Glennon. I didn't think they had a CF Clinic - thought it was only at Children's Hospital at least that is what my ped. told me and what I have found from searching on both websites. I think both hospitals are really great though. Good luck with the move and welcome to STL!

I live in Northeast Missouri and I go to Unversity Hopsital in Columbia and they have CF Clinic and they are really good at what they do I really like them but I dont know if u are willin to travel to Columbia everytime u have to go to the doc I dont really know anything about the ST Louis area

Hi,
I'm 32 with CF..and was diagnosed at Childrens Hospital in St.Louis...and grew up there. It is a great hospital! They are even ranked in the top 10! They do have a CF clinic there....and there adult clinic is right next door at Barnes..so the doctors are great about "helping" each other out. I also know a great CF doctor there. I will give you her name if you like...she was my doc for years at a different hospital before she went to Childrens. I, of course, go to Barnes now. It has a great CF clinic as well for adults.
