Stenotrophomonas maltophilia

Hi. Has anyone been colonised with Stenotrophomonas masltophilia. What are your symptoms? What are you treated with? Did it eradicate it and if so how long did it take?

Ds has cultured it off and on for a few years. His symptom was a dry throat clearing cough, sorta like a nervous habit. He's been on septra ds for it. Which took care of the cough. Culture results show its resistant to a number of abx
