Stomach Pain...

So ever since I moved to a new town, about a month ago, I have been having stomach issues (mainly loose stools). I sort of assumed it was the stress/water, but then I was put on Clarithromycin about a week ago, and I have had pretty much constant stomach pain.

I know what a CF stomach ache feels like...the enzyme related ones...and this is that feeling- but pretty much constant. I am pretty much sure that it's not a blockage because I've had regular stools and my abdomen isn't hard or anything. Should I increase enzymes? Is it the ABx? Are there any 'quick fixes' for the pain? I'm currently on Zantac.

I'll call the doctor in the next couple days, but wondered if anybody else has a secret cure for those tummy aches <img src="">

I had very horrible pains in the stomach area in the last few weeks. I tried adjusting enzymes, both ways, taking one away (obv bad idea...lol) and adding more and the pain would keep coming back. After I went to the bathroom it would be fine though, well relatively so. So one morning at like 3 AM when I woke up curled in a ball for two hours till I went to the bathroom (sorry TMI), I decided to call the doctor. They said I could try to switch to a different kind of enzyme, a different brand or I could try a mild laxative daily to help regulate me. It has helped quite a bit. Its called Lactulose, a very sweet sugar based liquid and I take 2 teaspoons ful twice a day. Also miralax was mentioned, which is over the counter. I would call your doctor though before trying any of that. Maybe you will get more natural ways to ease the pain from others on here though.

The only time that I have had pains like that and it wasn't a bowel obstruction is when I had c-diff.

Also, that causes loose stools/diarrhea too.
