Strange ear pain

So since Wednesday (when i started the abx and got the PICC) I get this wierd ear pain. Its usually when I am sleeping. I will wake up with such severe pain in my ear that I dont want to lay back down on it or even pick it up. Its like the pressure coming off the pillow hurts worse than laying on it. It doesnt happen every day or night, but its very painful. NOTE: I have also gotten this pain when not on a PICC or abx.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is this related to my PICC or the abx I am on? Could I just be so tired that I am sleeping so deeply and thus my ear falls asleep? It first happened in my left ear, which is the side the PICC is on (and I only would have had one dose of the meds). But now my right ear is bothering me. Like a dull pain throughout the day and also sometimes hurting when I sleep. I am on Tobramycin (which my levels were fine when they were done on Thursday), Vancomycin and Ceftazadime.

Goodness. I would def. ask your doc about it. Even though you've had it before when not on PICC, I would ask to be sure it's not the Tobramycin messing with your hearing. Are your ears ringing?

Also, is your nose stuffy? Could this be from sinuses or anything else? I hope they stop hurting soon!
