We havent gotten the CF test done yet, waiting on the hubs to get home on R&R in the next 2 weeks.

Ok so today she had her 6 month well baby. Well her growth has really leveled out. They think its just b/c I was sick and my supply went down so I was told to feed her every 2 hours, and pump 30 minutes after eat feed. She has only put on 9 oz in 2 months.

Well she has also been sick for about a week now. We turns out she either has pnuemonia or MRSA. (chest xray). They did a nasal swab for the MRSA but we wont know for a few days. So she is now on clindamycin (sp?)

Ok so now Im stressing, what are the chances that she has slow weight gain AND a lung infection and not having CF. I mean Im sure there is a chance but now Im totally freaking out.

DUDE THIS SUCKS!

I do know that lots of babies have weight gain problems and occasion lung infections and everyone doesn't rush to think CF -- but of course everything changes when they know your genes.

I hope your dd doesn't have CF. I know the waiting was miserable when we tested my dd. Hang in there!!!

Do you think that maybe she just picked up MRSA at the hospital? I hope she doesnt have cf. Have you asked your clinic to run a sweat test on her?

Im thinking thats where she got the MRSA (or from me). We are scheduled to have a sweat test the end of this month.
