Academics -- even medical academics -- move pretty slowly. This isn't a terrible turnaround from conference to publication...

Anyway, thanks for posting this. It is very interesting.

We have been aggresive since my daughter was diagnosed. She cultures small amounts of staph but a bronch showed no lung involvement (words were her docs). I'm going to send him this article . . . possibly he should rethink the wording he uses. Maybe he should say no lung damage and no current VISIBLE signs of involvment.

Regardless, we'll continue to stay highly aggressive.
