my (college) friends tell me how lucky I am to have a handicap parking tag so I don't have to walk to all my classes.... i CANT walk to my classes. I wish I could!

I was recently at an early morning CF clinic appointment feeling slightly better than death, and my CF doc told me I looked terrible, and questioned why I hadn't done my hair, or at least put on a little make-up. I felt bitter-sweet satisfaction with his comment. If/when I ever do make the effort, he tells me I look great so I must not be sick. I guess finally the outside truly reflected how I felt, enough for him to GET IT!!
I find this soooo frustrating. How can I expect others to understand when my own doctor can be so ignorant!?!

Once I had a boyfriend who told me that marrying me probably wouldn't be a bad idea, because he could look forward to having my inheritance all for himself...and sooner than later, no doubt.

He was a total a$$hole.
