I once was able to see a CD from Cory's bronch. The doctor has showed one area that was suctioned and when he passed through that area again, the mucous was already building up

That makes sense, thanks everyone!

I drug mark to the CF clinic today. We'll see what this culture shows and the sensitivities and resistances to various medications.

The doc. recommended he go back onto the daily azithro. and told him to continue with the 2x a day tobi (which he's only been doing for a week) and gave him an rx. to start 10 days of cipro. he's been feeling better and coughing a LOT less since he started the tobi. He doesn't seem to think they correlate, but I do.

As of now, he's not recommended for home or inpatient IV's as he is still sensitive to a number of pill medications, but we talked a bit about that, what it would require...(the picc line, doing it at home, how many meds, how many times a day...)

Thanks again for the info...

I think using apparatuses like "Hoover", or "Dyson" would be too extreme!

What about the acapella? I understand that has something like a suction effect on the lungs. Taking a look at some of lightNlife's links from her blog about such techniques might be enLightNing.
