Support Groups

I will definitely not pursue "in person" support groups for myself (as a CF parent) or for my daughter. She can make that decision for herself when she's older. Why risk cross-infection? Seems like a no-brainer to me. CF clinics are stressful enough. Send a picture if you need to see what the other individual looks like. What benefit could there possibly be by experiencing physical proximity over exchanging an email? Why worry about the supposed "three foot rule" of safety? I say, Skype it! <img src="">

I am with Mel on this. I come from a Time when
as Children there were 3 Cfers to a room at Children's in DC.
I also grew up with 3 Cf siblings with no problems.
I see my Sister who has Cf 3 to t times a week.

So I think getting together with People You have so much in common
with is ok,as long as no one is sick.. Just like with Non Cf people.
Just my opinion of course.
