It usually depends on what you need done on your return but if you are using a 1040 A and claiming itemized deductions and certain other exemtions you are probably looking any where between 119-299 depending on your situation. If you have a simlpe 1040 ez the new cost this year is 39 for federal and 29 for state. at least in my area, it may vary per state though, I do not know.
