Barabara Walters has another Special airing on ABC Tonite about Living to 150 years.

On her show "The View" they showed clips from this special & the part that caught my eye was a doctor. I dont remember his name, but he showed her how they have "grown" blood from stem cells & have "grown" bladders & are in the works of "growing" hearts.

Of course the first thing I thought of was LUNGS. He did say that the blood that is "Grown" would be Universal so the worries of matching a blood type is eliminated. I dont know if that aspect applies to the organs also, but it would really eliminate a big issue if it does.

I doubt I can stay awake for it since it airs at 10PM in NY, but thought I would put it out there for those that might want to tune in.

Obviously its not just about this particular part.....

sounds like the movie "The Island" lol.
they claimed they could grow body parts, but they secretly had an island with clones of people, and when someone needed an organ, well the clone would be used.

Well they did refer to restoring an old car......just replace the parts as they wear out! I know.....a moral confliction, right?
