I went to my doctors yesterday and while i was there, i asked him about this antibiotic, and he told me he had heard of it and it is a distant " cousin" to biaxin and zithromax and used mainly for staph infections , but we could try it if needed ( in a combination with another antibiotic) down the road, if i am not responding to what i am already taking. Its ALWAYS good to know there are other new antibiotics out there. Im still waiting for the one that can eradicate b.cepacia <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">~Diane 39 cf / diabetes / b.cepacia
