Thank a Veteran.

Last night at my company's annual gala our CEO stood up and welcomed everyone and then said "I would like to take a moment to remind everyone that it is Veteran's Day. Lets take a moment to recognize our veterans. Would all the veterans and active duty military members in the room tonight please stand." They all stood up and everyone clapped and cheered for them. Their were even a few in their dress uniforms. It was really cool, I got a little teary. I am so proud of everyone who I know that is serving or has served for us! I was really sleepy when I made my list before so I would like to add a few more friends who are in the military.

Our very own Julie, who is stationed on the same base as my hubby!
My prom date, Dave, who served in the Army in Iraq and is currently stationed in Georgia. I miss you!
My good friend Misty's husband, Brian who is currently in Iraq. I pray for your safe return to your friends and family!

A day late too...but I always pray for our men and women who gave and give the ultimate gift of themselves to protect our freedom. Thank you!<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
