Ok can be a very fun "game", much more so than the guessing game, and it only really ends when we get sick of participating (usually several days to a week), then we can start over. The comedy value all depends on the people who contribute, so basically what you give is what you get. The point of the game is to be funny/silly and add to what the previous person said story wise with a few lines/paragraph or two, but don't be so indepth that the possible responses from others adding to it are too limited. Here are the general rules:
1 - We can be as creative as we want, which includes potential grossness (this is a CF site afterall), but of course abide by the site rules, and censor out bad words etc.
2 - Think about what other people would like to read.
3 - (the most important rule) is that in order to respond, the person before you delegates who gets to go next. An example: (since i'm starting, but it works the same way for anyone who adds to it) I start by saying "So I woke up on tuesday morning and my dog was making some weird noises in the other room, I walked out of my room and say (another person off the forum) doing (whatever - it goes from there for a bit, but leaves it open for whoever else to respond and "keep it going"). Then someone who want's to keep it going posts they want to play, then the person who was before that person (like me starting it) says "Ok so and so your turn". And they go, then the next person asks to play, they are told to go, and so on and so on till we don't want to play anymore.
4 - Try to make your story involve one or more people off the forum. It's not as funny if we bring in people not in the forum like say Bill Gates.
5 - Your responsibility as a participant means that you need to have the time (after you contribute) to wait for someone else to say they want to play, then tell them to go, and the same for them and so on. The reason I stipulate this rule is so we don't have someone who posts at 3am and noone responds for 30+ mins and they have to go to bed, and the story is stalled till they can get back on the site at say 9pm that night. So basically don't participate if you can't wait around for a bit for someone else to respond.
If we don't abide by these rules in general, it turns into chaos due to many people posting and the storyline goes off in 300 different directions and isn't interesting anymore. So let's try to follow the rules and have some fun. I will start, and as soon as someone else wants to participate, it's on to them cause I gotta do my vest, and i'll be back later to see what you little rascals have gotten into!
So here we go!:
I went to the gym last Friday evening, and I noticed Allie peering from behind the womens bathroom door, half a jar. She looked very concerned and looked like she was needing help. I hesitantly walked up to the door and called her name, and asked if she needed some help. She peered around the door, looked at me, and said.....
Ok next! (someone post who wants to go, and then I will post saying it's your turn then you go...Read the rules to make sure you know how to play before vollunteering, and let's have some fun!)....Sitting here waiting for someone to respond, first one gets to go next!
