The vest

<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">Can anyone out there please tell me about the vest. I would like to know does it work the way the doctors say it work. Do anyone have a website I can go to see how it look. I went to an appointment with my son and the physicians told me that they think it's time for him to use the vest now that he's old enough. I would feel much better if I can get some input about it from someone that used it or know someone that used it. Before I make my decision.

Tee Tee, I'm jealous! I want one for my own son. It's great they're wanting your son to use one! I recommend reading Amy's blog too, about the CF doctor who invented it. Talks about how effective it is. Also, do a web search and try looking up "

I am currently trying to get my daughter a vest..i have been in contact with a company "RespirTech" & they have a vest called "InCourage System". I heard about it on this site. I got ahold of the company & have been dealing with two gentlemen named Jim Bedard & Jim Mares. They have both been very helpful..they have scheduled an inservice this month @ our cf clinic & it will be available for us to try on our next appt in Nov. I can't really recommend anything to you, yet, but just suggest you research. I have heard of several other brands..this is the first I've looked into. I will post info on it & my opinion as soon as we try it! If you are interested here are contact info for them! Jim Bedard jbedard@respirtech.com & Jim Mares jmares@respirtech.com (800)793-1261. They will email you or send info by regular mail if you want it! Good Luck!
