Tips to teach them to swollow enzymes w/o applesauce

Caleb has been taking pills whole since he was under a year. He just took one off the table and put it in his mouth. I gave him a drink and that was it.
Most times, I just put the whole pill in whatever mushy food he is eating and he swallows it down and has no temptation to chew it.
For Ethan he didn't start taking pills until he was 4. We found a great cup with a straw attached to it at Walmart. He just puts his pill in the straw and as he sucks up the water, he sucks up the pill too.
