Yes, I heard today that it is the worst flooding they've experienced in 60 years! I too hope everyone is safe and dry. It did look as though the UK definitely had a decent system down for evacuating and rescuing people...looked nothing like our infamous Katrina disaster (as far as rescue, I mean).
