To my Fibro's and Cysters with CF Related Diabetes

I am a 2nd time newly diagnosed diabetic...last time I didn't believe the doctor...I was 12 or 13 and the docs told me I had to take 3 insulins everyday and I did the fish flop a few times....
I was diagnosed with cf before birth confirmed upon birth.
I had mycombum ilius and needed 4 surgeries that need to take place over the next 4 days at 4 different hospitals.
so lets see I was diagnosed in november as a diabetic at least this time they told me I am cf related diabetics...last time they told me I was type 1 and I argued that if I had it it was cf related...yup way back then I called it that had heard it from a friend... well today I took my blood sugar 3 times morning it was 95, lunch it was 88 and night it was 96 bed time will be later.

There is actually a test that can be done that tells if you're type 1, it measures the antibodies or something, because with type 1 your own immune system destroys the beta cells in the pancreas, whereas with cfrd it is caused by insulin resistance, pregnisone and/or depleted pancreas...usually cfer's continue to make some insulin, whereas type 1's ability to make insulin is completely destroyed.

hey the post from Shannonb was my I didn't realize she was signed in. I haven't seen the endo yet but when I was a child I believe my a1c level was 5.6 , 6.1 and 5.4 the 3 times I was tested Although when I have an exhasterbation I have blood sugars reaching over 700 and I can't do much but drink fluids...when they get that high...sleeping even sucks because I'm sweating so bad most of the time I try.
