When was the last 6 minute walk test you did? Ask for that next time to see how low you get during exhurtion. WHen I first did it I was dropping to 76%, so I was put on it for exhurtion and I also got a $100 finger sat meter (you might look it up, mine is Devon Medical. I used it to make sure when I was walking to class and such I wasnt dropping below 85% or I would slow down. I use it now everywhere, when I am exercising, or when I am feeling out of breath in general just to see where I am. Its really helpful.
And yea, I dont really notice feeling better unless I am using the o2 that second. Its almost a comfort thing, when I am so out of breath and I put that cannula on its such relief

Well I actually got mine from my local pulmonologist (My cf clinic is 4 hours away, so I see him for monthly or so visits and he keeps in touch w/ my team)... the day I did my test, he sells them for $100.

I just did a google search of "devon medical pulse oximeter" and a bunch of links pop up, the one I bought for $100 is only $65 at walmart.com (dang it!)

Here it is

But, mine came with a little case thing, two I have a rubber one and then a big overall little case.

The difference I felt was great becuase I felt my sleep was of a better quality. When I started o2 it was constant (night and day). Prior to starting I had to stop halfway up stairs to catch my breath and because I was feeling dizzy, but once on o2 I could get to the stop of the stairs. So basically I felt I had become normal and had more energy, but the difference being obvious only lasted a short time.
