To those taking allergy shots...a new day!!!!

My allergist said that they were working on getting it approved (mine's not world famous- sorry! lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ) here, that they were using it in Europe, and that there were only a few on track to be approved, but hopefully will be more (this was last fall). I was really excited too! Until she told me she doesn't know how helpful they will be for my allergies yet...feathers, mold, and goldenrod (apparently, shots for these aren't as effective as for things like animal allergies, etc. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> . I'm waiting to see...

I'm so glad you got them! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I'd be really interested to see how they work for you!

My allergist was expecting Ragweed to come up (because of when my symptoms were) and I had always thought I was allergic to Ragweed, but, nope- Goldenrod. Of course, I would live in a state whose flower used to be the Goldenrod, and live 2 streets down from a neighborhood street called "Goldenrod" (and all the other streets around it are named after families) lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

Of course, I would live in a state whose flower used to be the Goldenrod, and live 2 streets down from a neighborhood street called "Goldenrod" (and all the other streets around it are named after families) lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .
