TOBI, my son is a little raspy..normal?

My son is 3 and has been on TOBI for about 3 weeks.
He has started to get a little hoarse in the past few days, but hasn't complained about scratch throat or anything. is this normal? Should we be concerned? are there any other side effects that we should watch for.

This is extremely common. It USUALLY goes away after a few days of starting the med. Sometimes it lasts longer & for a select few it never goes away.

Its usually more annoying then painful....

I have heard of that happening and my daughter gets a little raspy sound in her voice. It goes away after the TOBI cycle.

TOBI makes me raspy too. I think it made my ears ring also which is listed as a possible side affects in the literature.

Luckily I don't need it that often. Maybe once a year for 10 days - 2 weeks.
