Tobra peak and trough's

I can relate to the lung aspect of feeling better...

No doubt with the abx Mark is taking, it will put his liver into overtime...that might be his "exhaustion", IMO.

but glad he was able to push himself to work with his current situation and all...

Initially when you are being checked for peaks and trough levels it is every after every third dose. To give the new dosage time to work in your system and all.

Once you have a set medication level blood draws are done once a week typically or every 8 days something like that, to make sure that all is still the same.

I almost had IV tobra twice a day.
I would have blood drawn after 2 days I think.
When the level would be wrong we would change the dose and would start the process of the few days and then the testing again. Until the level was ok. After that I wouldn't have it checked again, not every week. Have never had that.

Usually I noticed when the level was high. No ringing in my ears but a headache, sometimes not even really bad.
When I had the feeling the level could be high I would call my doc and have it checked again. Just to make sure it was ok
