<P>I just wanted to let you know that on Friday 11/11/11, I reached a great milestone. I'm officially 7 years out of my transplant. </P>
<P></P>
<P>I wrote an article for the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplants. Visit <A href="http://www.ishlt.org/publications/ishltLinksNewsletter.asp">http://www.ishlt.org/publications/ishltLinksNewsletter.asp</A>and visit the November 2011 letter. The article entitled "Was My Transplant Worth It?" is a snapshot of my story. Hopefully you will all enjoy this article. For those of you contemplating transplant it should shed some light on the experience. </P>

Congrats on two years Leah!! Every year is such a huge milestone.

I forget the liters but it was 110% of predicted. I'm going back to the doctor in January so I will post my PFTs if that helps. I know a couple of people have been asking that. My center actually gives a print out at every visit of my historical numbers. So I know what my PFTs were right before transplant and then after up until 7 years later! It's crazy to see the change.
