I put this in the adult section; but, I thought some of you parents might have some tips in this regard with all the summer traveling that goes on with families so I thank you in advance for any help. You would think I would have this figured out after 40 years

We are going to FL in the fall. I am not great about sterilizing nebs on vacation. Now with having more meds and more nebs I am wondering how you all sterilize nebs when you are in a hotel room. I think we will have a microwave; but, no stove. I do have respiratory cleaner; but, then how to rinse. I am thinking maybe clean with respiratory cleaner and rinse with boiled water from the micro and take some disposable nebs. What a pain in the arse that will be especially now with the e-flow in the mix.

I can't comment on the eflow... never used one and don't know the ins and outs of cleaning them. Traveling with just regular neb equipment would be easy for us: we have the AventIQ, which is a plug-in steam sterilizer.

If you need to be able to boil water and can't count on your room having a microwave, maybe you could bring a plug-in hot plate that can boil water. They cost a lot less than a steam sterilizer too.

I know some people have used the breast pump sterilization bags for microwaves. I've never used them.

Since you have a microwave the other option would be to boil the nebs in the microwave in a bowl.

Most of the time when we've traveled we haven't had access to a microwave, so I've brought along a deep fryer (amy's method), but I've often wondered about a hotpot.
