trial ponderings

I'm headed for screening soon and then if I get in I won't be able to talk about my experience in the study. But here are some things on my mind...

So in Ph. 2B I gained 10 lbs. in the month long study. Do you think in a year that means I'll gain 120 lbs? (j/k) But seriously what sort of weight gain do you predict?

My FEV1 was measured Monday at 73% which was the highest it's been other than when I was in the trial (reached 74%) since 2000. Nice eh? So do you think I'll see another 10 percentage point gain on my 73%? The 73 was last day of a 14 days of IV antibiotics.

Sounds super exciting.

I can't predict weight gain cuz I don't know how you'll eat or how you'll exercise <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

But I hope you gain soem more FEV1.... i'm guessing about 5% more. But the real great benefit will be not loosing any.... preventing the FEV1 loss over time is fantastic.

P.S. I just started my denufosol study yesterday (that I CAN talk about <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> ) and I'm about 95% sure I got the actual drug! Yipeeee. So i'll let you konw how it goes <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
