Tune ups

2x a year seems realistic. I think my PFT's don't always reflect what I might need since I work so hard to stay clear. I kind of think it is reasonable to do a tune up. I know there are some centers that do IV's every 3 months. My doc explained to me that in the US it can become an insurance battle. You know the need to justify IV antibiotics.

Mine varies. 2005 & this year I was in twice with home iv's inbetween. 2006 I was in once.

I dont do the everything 3 month thing. I base it on my pfts, xrays & how "I" feel. I usually know before the doctors. I always did, but was in denial about it.

I generally do a tune up one to two times a year (usually ends up being about 8 months. I would probably do it a bit more if I could afford to not work, but I pay all the bills sooo. I do always go in before I get real sick though, usually when I start having a lot of wheezing and some shortness of breath, before I ever get a productive though. It always goes in that order for me, I usually only get real productive if I am extremely sick, which has been a long time.
