Yeah; I noticed most of the med interactions were not things that young children would typically have to worry about. However, some kids w/ CF are on ibuprofen, and it can also cause stomach upset or diarrhea- issues that are sometimes already a tricky problem with our kids, so I thought it was worthwhile to post the article.

I take tumeric 2 -1x a day they are 500 mg. I also take ibuprofen for a constant back pain . And so far I have had no problems with it. I take it b/c of the mrsa. Don't know if it helps but I haven't got any of the sores at all and neither has my husband since we started taking it. I have never got the sores just cultured it in my lungs. But you can get the community associated mrsa from healthy people that have the sores. That is where I got it. I got it from the stepson before my husband did and they work together.
