This is horrible...thank you for this very enlightening post. I too have seen some very senseless tragic deaths...preventable deaths and it broke my heart every time. I will be sure to tell my brother this as he has a toddler and one of those giant TV's. Jenn

That's so sad to hear. A lot of people have so many things in their home that are dangerous, and they just have no idea. I'm glad I have my little crappy 19" tube, it won't be hurting anyone anytime soon. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> *Hugs* and I am sorry you have to go through that pain day in, and day out, but as someone that has been through the ER so many times myself, I thank you for being there for us.

Great post, thank you. We are starting to discuss/plan baby proofing and our entertainment center is on the list-but we haven't discussed the TV. Amelia isn't crawling yet but I doubt it will be much longer! Tonight I was shocked when DH stood her up on our bed while I was nebbing, let go and she stood there with her own strength and balance for quite a few seconds!
