TV Boy wants a snuggie

We have a pancake puff maker 'cuz DS saw one on tv last year and we figured anything to encourage eating -- and I had a coupon at Linens-N-Things.

He sees stuff that he thinks I need -- water globes, upside down tomato planters, a mini-hamburger patty maker.

But his latest obsession is the snuggie. It's basically an oversized fleece blanket with arms and a cowel neck. A hideous looking robe. It's just hilarious because he soooo wants one. So I've been looking at them online -- amazon only has a "slanket" which is like $80 <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I just might have to bite the bullet if I can find a reasonably priced one. Little weirdo <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Just say NO to the infomercials! LOL...

That's funny, we saw the commercial and I was actually thinking of buying some fleece and making them for the kids.

Wouldn't be that hard, and definately less than $80 each!!1

I was thinking about making one, too and then DH pointed out that on the commercial they were $14.95 plus shipping -- just not too keen on ordering from a site like that, plus I imagine the shipping is probably inflated. A coworker just mentioned seeing them on a home shopping channel. Might have to check out qvc or hsn. He would be thrilled, but I'd just feel so cheap <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
