I have had a blood clot in my neck and just under my collarbone just after my tx. My right arm was very very swollen. I too got the injected medicine for about 3 to 4 weeks (when i was in hospital) and could switch to pills after that. I was on Fraxiparine injections that had to go in my belly or my upperleg. I was on bloodthinners for 3 months in total and it went very well.
I had to get my blood get checked every week, sometimes more, sometimes less, and would her that night via phone (when i would need to change the dose quickly) or get a letter the next day via mail with the doses for the next days.

What did they decide to do about the mid-line?

Come back as often as you can, just to stay connected to some support. What are <b>you</b> doing to stay healthy? Its not easy.
