Alisha, I'm interested to know what you come up with.. I have had 3 DVTs (blood clots) due to 2 ports.. When i have a picc line in (i'm back to picc lines) i have to do shots of lovnox as well.. I am seeing a hematologist also.. I hope your drs. work it all out for you. I know the anxiety only to well.. If you get some great news please PM me. I have a Power Port which is amazing.. It works for when you need to get contrast for IVs, and for me that is really important because I get bowel obstructions a lot and I am always getting Catscans..

If you are not someone who is prone to needing Catscans I would look into the double port, this way you can do two lines running it at once which would save a lot of time in the long run...
