Ugh-stopping the Biaxin

Thanks guys. I am about ready to call the doctor on call to let her know what is going on and that I am stopping the Biaxin. I was up until about 4am last night unable to sleep, nauseous, my heart felt like it was beating faster than normal, and my hands were tingly. At that point-I said-definitely no more!
So-I am going to do lots of airway clearance and vitamins and hopefully that will keep lung infections away. Ugh.

I just got off the phone with the nurse practitioner on call and she said that I should stop the biaxin...she is going to leave a note for the CF clinic to call me on Monday. Meanwhile-I am going to seriously up my airway clearance to keep that gunk out of there and avoid antibiotics.

Glad you were able to stop the biaxin. I've never had it, but when I had staph, they treated with levaquin or cipro and it got rid of it. Best of luck! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
