Hi Terri, I went to Stony Brook hosp. (In N.Y.) yesterday, My doctor put me on cipro 750 mg. Oh no here comes the diareaha.......... Bleeding stopped, thank you God and thank you all for your concern, it really helps........Terri we sound so much alike. Would love to here from you.... I tried to pm you but forgot what i was supposed to do. I will figure it out eventually....I have one little grandson, isn't it great....Joni 54 y/o w c/f

We go to Stony Brook hospital too. My daughter is 16 and has CF. We really love Dr. Kanu!!! I think you are the first person I read about from LI.

Hi, Ive never been on blood thinners, but I have coughed up blood several times, and was hospitalized one time because of severe hemoptysis. Now, I cough up blood occasionally but unless it is really bad, I dont worry about it. It usually goes away after a day or two. I havent experienced it over a six day stretch though, but like I said I'm not on blood thinners. Good luck.
