ULTRASE gone, Hate the new pills?

My live-in boyfriend has CF, he has used ULTRASE MT-20's for 30 years, now that they are discontinued (GRRRR) he is using Zenpep and he hates them. Does anyone else have difficulties with them?

I have also been using Ultrase 20 for a long time,soon as I heard about them being discontinued I called my pharmacy and asked them to send me all they had,I have quite a few but im rly worried about what imma have to use once there gone v.v

I was on Ultrace MT-20's for 15 years and tried Zenpep and had problems. Then tried Creon and have had great success! I'm up almost 10lbs and have been in and out of the hospital for 5 months over the summer.

I was on Ultrase as well and have since switched to Creon. I have had excellent results with the Creon and I actually think they work better than the Ultrase. Maybe he could try the Creon's? I went from Ultrase MT-20's to Creon MT-24's.

I went from Ultrase to Zenpep.

Never ever had stomach problems in my life and I actually only take 2 MT-20's with each meal which I hear is a really, really low dose.

Anyway, since I started Zenpep, my stomach hurts and I am generally messed up.

I called my CF center and they said that the Ultrase should be back on the market soon! It was supposedly going to happen this month, but my coordinator hadn't heard anything yet.

I have been on Ultrase MT20's for as long as I can remember. I switched to Zenpep about 2 months ago. For the first 3 weeks or so, I had stomach troubles, but now I am fine. I actually think the Zenpep may work a little better for me, I notice I have less gas than I did with the Ultrase.
