Ultrase or creon

so basiclly my whole life ive been on ultrase, and had the worst childhood ever! i had chronic stomach pain everyday.. i couldnt hang out with friends or even go to school most of the time!

the doctors couldnt figure out what was wrong with me and just kept telling my parents that i was making it up to get out of school... so most of the time i was forced to go to school and it was hell i would spend most of the school day in the bathroom! the pain was so weird it felt like i had to go all the time but i never had to and also i could just feel everything moving in my intestines!!

so when i was about 13 i switched doctors and he prescribed me creon.. all my problems disapeared.... i also had severe anxiety at the time due to other issues so was prescribed zoloft around the same time..

so i always thought that the zoloft was helping my stomach and that the pain was due to social anxiety until about 2 years ago i stopped taking it.. and my stomach pain still remained gone! so i figured i outgrew my anxiety and i was cured from my stomach issues.. until about a month ago

i switched back to creon because it was easier to get than ultrase at my pharmacy.. and the pain came back almost right away i can feel everything moving in my intestines (because everything in there is rock hard) im always constipated and nothing is digesting (because it floats) i know gross

im always bloated and just feel horrible all the time

has ultrase ever gave any of you a problem like this?

i heard that alot of people have opened up lawsuits against them for the medicine causing stomach issues

Hi, My girls use Pancrease. Anna moved from just regular Pacrease to Pancrease MT16 around the age of 8 or 9. When we moved to Germany we couldn't get the MT16 and they tried Ultrase & Creon. For Rachel she could use the Creon but Anna could not use either. They both irritated her stomach. We ended up just having my mom pick up her Pancrease MT 16 and mailing it to us in Germany. Now, she will not try anything different than Pancrease.

I had a similar problem with Ultrase when I was quite young. I started getting some intestinal blockage, even after upping the dosage. I switched to Creon and have never had a problem since. I think it just depends on how your body processes the nuances between brands.
