Update on Melleemac's twins

Thanks Terri. Poor kids, the hospital is the worst on the weekends or holidays. They must be bored to death.

We usually try to keep our boys busy by doing something just a little naughty (enough to keep them interested). Once we filled the window with graffiti made out of medical tape. Another time we made sculptures out of all the extra medical stuff (tubing, neb cups, tape etc) and connected them to the ceiling.

Its not easy, especially having two in.

Hi. Just a quick update. Brandys iv blew at 4am this morning. He still hasnt got the mid line in as promised. He now has to wait until Tuesday. They did manage to get another iv in but we are having lots of problems with it already, this will be his 5th one. He also had to get blood work this morning, he isnt feeling well and isnt eating. Hes extremely tired and he is totally fed up. Mikey has been doing alot better since having the mid line put in. Im just trying to keep them moving around right now, tomorrow they are being put on an excercise regime if they are feeling up to it.
Anyway, got to run, Ill try to get to a computer again tomorrow. Thanks for all the well wishes! Terri, it was so fantastic to hear from you yesterday! A real high light for me!

They did manage to get another iv in but we are having lots of problems with it already, this will be his 5th one. He also had to get blood work this morning, he isnt feeling well and isnt eating. Hes extremely tired and he is totally fed up. Mikey has been doing alot better since having the mid line put in. Im just trying to keep them moving around right now, tomorrow they are being put on an excercise regime if they are feeling up to it.

Hi Melody, so sorry the boys have to be in the hospital during summer, I don't know what the weather is like for you but here I am staying indoors (although it is home and not hospital) and enjoying the A/C!!!! I really want to send a package off to your boys, it may take a couple days though since I don't get out much, and now that I know it's there birthday too that's an added bonus, it won't arrive by their birthdays but I'm sure it will be just as great afterwards.
