Lauren,

Yes, you are correct. That is exactly what happened with me. They found out I ovulated on day 21 and pushed my due date further out one week. That is what Caroline is saying as well. I surely don't want to be induced when I'm actually just 40 weeks. I think my OB is just screwing it up a little, but when it comes down to the end I'll be making sure I'm correcting her! No inductions for me unless medically necessary.

Adorable pictures! I love that last one. Good luck with the weight gain. It's been tough for me too, but I started tracking my calories on www.babyfit.com and found that if I can get 3000 calories in every day, I can gain weight. So lots of milkshakes . I'm up a total of 12 lbs, but just up 2 lbs from my pre-preg weight since I lost a bunch in 1st tri. But my OB is happy since I'm finally gaining.

Good luck with the 3 hour test! I'm so nervous about my test, it's not until the first week of June. I also know many people that failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour, but none of them have cf, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Hi Leah,

Great pictures! You have a beautiful family.

I had CFRD during my pregnancy. It did go away after I delivered. I still have a fairly high hemoglobin A1C (6.3 last I checked) and I get occasional lows but I don't have CFRD....yet! I never took the GTT because I had full blown insulin dependent CFRD from the start of pregnancy. I mean, like within a week of having the embryo's transfered unbeknownst to me I had severe highs and lows before my pregnancy test at 10 days post transfer. After my pregnancy test it dawned on me why I felt so terrible. It wasn't morning sickness at all, it was skyrocketing blood sugars into the mid 200's and quick drops, into the 30's. It was scary, but once I found the right combo of insulin, everything stayed very well controlled.

Jenny - I also lost weight in the 1st trimester, but only about 4 lbs. I'm up 3.5 lbs now so I'm just about at my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm really trying hard now to put the weight on.

Tara - That's good to know that your GD went away right away and you still don't have CFRD! My doctor wants to put me on insulin if I get GD, especially because I'm not gaining weight easily.

Thanks
