No one on here can tell you with accuracy that you are going to be fine or what it wrong with you... It might be nothing, but if this is the first time you are having this pain, and it is severe.. You need to get it checked out. The ER can check your pancreatic enzyme levels and tell if it is Pancreatitis or not. If it is, I know they limit your intake by mouth to clear liquids or maybe even nothing. They can give you pain meds and IVS to keep you hydrated.

It could just be a stomach virus as well, I saw that at work all week last week, severe stomach pains without throwing up and it was just a virus, but the important thing is to be checked.. Better safe then sorry is what I always say... No one can tell you but a doctor and he only knows after they have run some tests.

I have never had a "pancrease pain"? I know our pancreases don't work splendidly but I have never actually heard of them causing pain? I think if it's that bad you should definitely see a doc ASAP.

Yes, when you have Pancreatitis they will check your enzyme levels, sometimes people with CF get plugged in their pancreas and the enzymes get trapped in the pancreas causing it to swell, inflame and can be very painful. I know a lot of adult CFers who have this disease, usually thier lung function is not as bad as thier digestive....If you have never had pancreatitis before what makes you think it is that now? I am just wondering? Right lower quadrant pain is usually indictive of either an appendix, or an ovarian cyst. Not that it can't happen... and not that I have seen a lot of cases of Pancreatitis at work but the cases I have seen the whole stomach hurts.. not just one specific area.. I am not a doctor and I don't know that much..

If you go to the ER they will check your lipase level which is a simple blood test that shows if something is up with your pancreas....
