Vacations...

I say go for it! My husband and I are fortunate to get a few weekends away each year. The grandparents watch the kids. There is more for the grandparents to worry about, but everything is taken care of of and everything has always been taken care of. Having a child(ren) with special needs is stressful and time consuming. It is wonderful to just sit back and not have to worry about everything for a few days. I just got back this morning from being at the beach in Mexico this weekend with my husband. Very relaxing!!!

It sounds like you have a great option for caring for your son! Take advantage of it! I am new to CF, but it is very stressful and stressful on a marraige. Take the time and enjoy Hawaii! Have a fruity drink for the rest of us!
